Biographical Database – Background Information

After discussing the matter with individual Board members, members of SVU Council and SVU Fellows, the SVU Executive Board has decided to establish a special SVU Biographical Data Base.

In the last decade there has been a recurrent demand for biographical material on individual SVU members which is not always readily available in the existing biographical sources and to try to obtain it from other people in the last minute, is always a problem. Such requests frequently come from the US, Czech or Slovak Governments and their Embassies, as well as from private corporations, seeking consultants with particular expertise.
