New SVU Biographical Directory on CD
Eva and Mila Rechcigl, in cooperation with SVU Webmaster Jiri Eichler, are planning to produce an updated SVU Biographical Directory on CD. Since we would like to have the CD ready by the next SVU Congress in June 2006, it is imperative that the members send us their updates as soon as possible.
To save time, rather than filling out lengthy questionnaires, the simplest thing would be if you would send your complete entry, in the form as it appears in the 2003 Directory. Don't send us your biographical data unless there are mistakes or omissions in your current entry. In any case, it is important that you recheck your postal addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.
In case you are a new SVU member, you should note that a typical entry consists of the following: Name (Last, First and Middle); Occupation title, employer, work address, telephone and FAX numbers, work e-mail address; Home address, telephone, private e-mail address; Place and complete date of birth; Degrees, field, institution, year; Areas of competence or interest; major books with year of publishing; significant awards with year.
If we don?t hear from you, we'll assume that your current entry is correct and consequently we'll use it as is.
