Jiří Eichler
Jiří Eichler has been supporting the Society since the year 2000 when he helped to create the Official Website of the Society at SVU2000.ORG. Later he digitalized Zdenka Fischmann’s manuscripts for publication of the Essays on Czech Music by Columbia University Press. He helped with editing and publishing of the last SVU Biographical Directory and of a couple of CD publications. He has received the SVU Beyond the Call of Duty Award and five SVU Presidential Citations.
Jiří holds a master’s degree in Business Administration and Economic Journalism from the University of Economics, Prague (2001). He completed training in Foreign Policy and Management at the University of Bologna and the Italian Diplomatic Institute in Rome (2002). He graduated also at the Diplomatic Academy in Prague (2003-2007). In 2007, he received the Certified Government Auditing Professional designation from The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), New York.
