Each week, starting Monday, April 27, we will make one film from our program&#8217;s selection available at this website. <\/p>\n<p>The week of Monday, April 27 until Sunday, May 3, 2020 we will be showing Old-Timers (Sta\u0159\u00edci), winner of 2019 Czech Film Critics&#8217; Awards for Best Film, Best Actor (Ji\u0159\u00ed Schmitzer), and Best Director. This drama based on true events is about two former political prisoners seeking revenge for injustices done to them during the 1950s. Our festival&#8217;s team prepared a Q&#038;A session with directors Martin Du\u0161ek and Ond\u0159ej Provazn\u00edk that you can watch in video <a title=\"Q&#038;A session\" href=\"http:\/\/www.czechthatfilm.com\/films_5.html\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We hope you will enjoy the Czech cinematic gems we are offering this year, and that our program will make the Corona closure more bearable for you.
