The Cleveland Chapter of SVU was established in 1969 by Ing. Bastl, and it rapidly became very active chapter. The major accomplishments were the hosting of the National SVU Congress in 1978, and this Chapter’s involvement in organizing a formal annual event, which occures to this day and is known as the Czech and Slovak Cotillion Ball.
In 2003, after a brief repose in the Chapter’s activities, a new team re-energized the Chapter.
